Smithfield Kick Off to Christmas
Plan your visit
About
Downtown Smithfield's holiday season opener pairs a holiday vendor market on 3rd Street with the town Christmas tree lighting at 7 p.m., running 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and free to attend. The tree lighting pulls families downtown into the evening, so the market gets foot traffic well beyond dedicated shoppers. The event is programmed by the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation, which runs the town's downtown event calendar. No booth fee, vendor count or attendance figure is published, and no vendor application form is posted online, so contact the DSDC directly about a space.
