Accepted Answer

VendorWize can use Vertex AI Gemini with Google Search grounding to find candidates, but a grounded URL is not automatically an approved official source. When evidence matches a reviewed organizer source, that status can be shown; unreviewed, missing, or stale evidence remains explicit. Fee parsing, geocoding, and lifecycle checks apply only when the required source data is available.

Is VendorWize free for vendors and artisans to search for markets?

Accepted Answer

Public event and vendor discovery is available without signing in. You can search and filter the North Carolina-focused listings currently published; county coverage, booth-fee details, and weather data vary with the available records and providers.

How are booth fees verified and presented?

Accepted Answer

When organizer source text contains parseable vendor fees, normalization presents a min and max booth-fee range and keeps general-admission prices separate. If pricing is unpublished, ambiguous, or cannot be tied to a vendor booth, VendorWize shows it as unknown rather than inventing a value.

How can event organizers list and manage vendor applications?

Accepted Answer

The launch workflow supports organizer profiles, event drafts and publishing, vendor applications, profile answers, and application-status updates. Custom questionnaires, jury scoring, and compliance-document review are later-tranche features and are not available in launch.

What mobile and offline features are available for vendors on event day?

Accepted Answer

VendorWize is installable as a Progressive Web App. After one successful public discovery read, the browser can keep one field-allowlisted snapshot for the URL-restorable search for up to 24 hours and restore it only when the public connector or network is unavailable. Search filters are stored only as a non-reversible fingerprint; transient map-bound results are not saved, expired or invalid matching snapshots are removed, and visited public pages are not reused after 24 hours. The saved-at banner warns that results may be stale. Authentication, applications, attendance, messages, private profiles, weather responses, and other signed-in data are never stored in this offline snapshot; URL fields containing credentials or signed capabilities are omitted.
